Take Back the Media

“Of course the people do not want war. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it is a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism” Herman Goering-Nazi Leader-Nuremberg Trial

BEIJING, Sept. 25 -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says Iran will not launch an attack on Israel or any other country and he doesn't believe the US is preparing for war against Iran.

Ahmadinejad says Iran has always maintained a defensive, not offensive policy and has never sought to expand its territory. He says the country's foreign policy is based on humanitarian concerns and seeking justice.

He stressed a call for a debate at the UN with President George W Bush on world issues. The president says Iran will be "best friends" with the US if the US gives up its hostility toward the Islamic republic.
